Warren East Middle School All-Comers Meet Announcements

The Junior High Track and Field Teams participated in the Warren East Middle School All-Comers Meet March 19, 2013.
The Girls’ Team placed fifth overall. Scoring for the Girls’ Team:
In the 100 meter dash, Jasmine Varner placed 1st, and LaQuoinia Bell placed 3rd.
In the girls 1600 meter run, Jaycie Fowlkes placed 3rd, Kristin Dent-7th.
Placing in the 400 meter dash were LaQuoinia Bell in 2nd and Aliza Norman in 3rd.
In the Girls 800 meter run—Jaycie Fowlkes finished 4th; Ebonee Gabhart, 8th.
In the Girls 200 meter dash, Jasmine Varner placed 1st, LaQuoinia Bell placed 4th.
The Boys’ team finished third overall. Scoring for the boys:
The boys 4×800 meter relay team of Owen McGrath, Jermaine Butts, Matt Wininger and JD Hoover finished 2nd.
John Michael McCoy placed 3rd in the boys’ 100 meter hurdles.
In the Boys 100 meter dash, Jamale Carothers placed 1st.
Placing in the boys 1600 meter run were JD Hoover in 3rd place and Matt Wininger in 5th.
In the boys 400 meter dash, Jamale Carothers finished 2nd, and Andrew Ransdell placed 5th.
John Michael McCoy finished 1st in the boys 300 meter hurdles.
In the boys 800 meter run. AJ Hampton finished 4th, AJ McAllister finished 5th.
In the boys 200 meter dash, Jamale Carothers placed 2nd and Andrew Ransdell placed 3rd.
The boys 4×400 meter relay team of Owen McGrath, Matt Wininger, AJ Hampton and Andrew Ransdell finished 3rd.

BGJHS Tri-Meet Update
May 17th
Thursday, May 17, the Boys and Girls Track Teams hosted a Tri Meet at Bowling Green High School. Both teams placed first overall and many athletes ran their best times of the season.
In the Girls 100 meter dash Jasmine Varner finished second, Tyria Smart, 3rd;
Girls 200 meter dash—Rose Mary Jackson finished first, Jasmine Varner, 2nd;
Girls 400 meter dash—Rose Mary Jackson finished 2nd, Jasmine Varner, 3rd;
In the Girls 800 meter run—Chloe Games placed 2nd, Hannah Bain-Selbo, 3rd;
Girls 1600 meter run—Madisyn Peebles finished first, Hannah Bain-Selbo 2nd;
In the Girls hurdles Camille Smart placed 1st in both the 100 meter and 300 meter hurdles;
Rose Mary Jackson placed first in the girls high jump;
Katrina Hanson placed 2nd, and To’Nia Beavers placed third in both the shot put and Discus;
The 4×800 meter relay team of Madisyn Peeples, Sofía Alemán, Hannah Bain-Selbo and Chloe Games placed first.
And the 4×100 meter relay team of Tyria Smart, Jasmine Varner, Camille Smart and Rose Mary Jackson placed first with a time of 54.77, breaking the school record.

In the boys 100 meter dash Jamale Carothers finished first;
Boys 200 meter dash—Tristen Murray finished 1st, Jamale Carothers second;
Boys 400 meter dash—Robbie Lofton finished 1st, Tristen Murray, 2nd;
Boys’ 800-meter dash—Trajon Hall placed 1st, Jack Atkerson 2nd;
Boys 1600-meter run, -Jack Atkerson 4th and Trajon Hall finished first with a time of 4:50, breaking the school record;
Boys 300 meter hurdles, Blake Cleary finished first, John Michael McCoy 3rd;
The 4×800 relay team of AJ McAllister, Chris Grinstead, Michael Spencer and Jack Atkerson finished first;
Boys shot put—Tyler Hughes placed 5th;Tyler also placed 3rd in the boys discus throw;
Blake Cleary got first in the long jump;
And for the boys high jump Tristen Murray placed first, Blake Cleary 2nd.
In the 100 meter hurdles, John Michael McCoy placed 3rd and Blake Cleary finished first with a time of 15.67, breaking the school record;
And also breaking a school record was Robbie Lofton with a triple jump of 35’ 3.5’’that won first place.
Awesome job to all athletes who participated in the meet and good luck to those who will be participating in the Middle School State Championship Meet this Saturday, May 26, 2012 in Lexington!
Results From The North Hardin Derby Classic
May 7th
Over the weekend, the BGJHS boys and girls Track and Field Teams participated in the North Hardin Derby Classic, both placing second overall!
For the girls:
In the girls’ 100 meter hurdles Camille Smart finished first;
Girls’ 100 meter dash—Tyria Smart finished 2nd, Jasmine Varner finished 3rd;
1600 meter run—Hannah Bain-Selbo placed 5th;
400 meter dash—Jasmine Varner placed 6th;
In the girls’ 300 meter hurdles Camille Smart placed second;
Girls’ 800 meter run—Chloe Games finished 1st;
Madisyn Peeples finished 1st in the 3200 meter run, breaking a school record in the 3200;
Rose Mary Jackson placed 1st in the high jump;
Katrina Hanson placed 3rd in the Girls Discus AND placed 3rd in the girls’ shot put;
The 4×800 meter relay team of Sofía Alemán, Hannah Bain-Selbo, Chloe Games and Madisyn Peeples placed 3rd;
Girls’ 200 meter dash— Rose Mary Jackson placed 4th ; and Jasmine Varner placed 1st with a time of 28.7, breaking a school record in the 200;
And the 4×100 relay team of Tyria Smart, Jasmine Varner, Camille Smart and Rose Mary Jackson finished first with a time of 55.8, breaking the school record.

The 4×400 meter relay team of Tristen Murray, Jamale Carothers, AJ Hampton and Robbie Lofton placed 2nd;
In the boys’ 400 meter dash—Robbie Lofton finished 1st with a time of 54.1, breaking the school record in the 400 and Tristen Murray finished 3rd;
In the boys’ 300 meter hurdles Blake Cleary placed first with a time of 46.1, breaking the school record.
And in the boys’ 100 meter hurdles Blake Cleary finished first with a time of 15.9, breaking the school record;
